The farm is located in the sweeter area of the district, bordering the Humansdorp Suurveld with a large area of Fynbos on the farm.

The owner has an ongoing project to eradicate alien plants, mostly wattle, providing additional income from the braai wood market in the nearby coastal area of Humansdorp, Jeffreys Bay and St Francis Bay.

A variety of small game is found on the property, with several larger species roaming the farm from time to time and which allows for hunting as a further source of income. The farm falls within the Suuranys Bavaria, which means that hunting can be done all year round.
