This is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity to own and run one of the most successful and established guest house properties in Port Elizabeth!! The seven spacious and tastefully decorated rooms are situated discreetly in the gardens of the property and are purpose-built suites of approximately 50 square metres each, providing luxury accommodation for families, tourists or corporate clients. Each of the suites has an en-suite bathroom and offers various sleeping configurations depending on the needs of the clients. 6 of the suites have sleeper couches while 2 of the suites are family suites which allows for parents with more than 1 child to be in the same room. The suites are stocked with honesty bar fridge, air conditioners, safes, kettles, coffee makers, microwaves, toasters, hairdryers, irons, ironing boards, crockery and cutlery for those in between meals and snacks.
There is flat screen TV, with DSTV decoder and DVD player in each suite to cater for entertainment during your stay. The guesthouse has high quality WiFi connection. Secure parking on site is supplied for each suite. The guests have full use of the swimming pool and outdoor entertainment area.
An advantage to acquiring this establishment is the number of returning guests which form a large part of their business as they do not have many peers in terms of what they have to offer and the bonus is that they have been going for a number of years and have a very established and loyal following. Sellers Comment: "We started Millbury Guesthouse in 1999 following Denis being injured in a major vehicle accident in 1987 which ended his career in pumps and hydraulics. We custom built the first 2 suites for Denis to manage. We so enjoyed the experience and as our business grew so did the need for more suites. The guesthouse has been a wonderful journey the so enriched the lives of our family. Millbury became the hub around which we built many happy memories. Our guests became friends and we have visited some of them on our overseas trips. Families returned time and again and so a wonderful warm and happy relationship was built with many of our guests. Denis has entertained ours guests from Tiny Tots to the Old with his fantastic stories and we have kept them well informed of the secret that is our beautiful Port Elizabeth.
