The mountain slopes and valleys are covered with prevalent trees, wild olive (Olienhout), blue bush, common wild currant, cabbage tree (Cusonia spicata) Karee (Karee) and sweet Acacia (Akasias) trees with thicket and taller shrubs as well as various sweet grasses. The plateau on the mountain is covered with quality red grass (Themeda Triandra) and various other sweet grasses due to the higher rainfall on the plateau. Warthog, with indigenous small antelope like Steenbok and Common Duiker also roam the area. The rare Black-footed cat (Felis nigripes), which is the smallest wild cat in Africa, also enjoys the farm together with various predators. The rugged mountainous terrain with cliffs and ledges is the preferred habitat of the Black Eagle. This farm is home to various breeding pairs of the large and distinctive Black Eagles, with its graceful wingspan up to 2,3 metre. This farming enterprise has a rich legacy of good quality Rock Art where humans are commonly depicted in procession of hunting.
