Goats are mainly browsers, so the trees around the mountain act as their main source of feed and may be supplemented from time to time with Lucerne and in addition goats thrive well in a mountainous terrain.
Almost 70% of the rock on the mountain is sand stone and the is covered with a dense bush.

The available land is also capable of supporting cattle breeding. The land has two major portions for this purpose. Cattle handling facilities are available; however, some revamps may need to take place, e.g., resurfacing the cement dam, and repairing the existing windmill.

Game farming: The farm is located adjacent to Dinyala Game Reserve also having a number of game such as the nyala, impala, kudu, warthog, wild pig etc., roaming the place.

Only small portion has been fenced for game, the rest of the land is cattle fenced.
